Then you can, of course, opt for battery swapping. With fuel-powered forklifts, a distinction is made between diesel and LPG engines. Due to stricter regulations regarding these forklifts, diesel forklifts with a lifting capacity lower than 4 tons may no longer simply be deployed. A major advantage of these forklifts compared to electric forklifts is that they are continuously operational. Filling an LPG bottle or tank takes significantly less time than changing a battery. Be careful where you store the tanks.
Forklifts from Kalmar's new Essential series have a lifting capacity of 10 to 18 tons. This is comparable to the forklifts from the earlier Kalmar DCG90/180 series. The difference lies in the price.
